An Amazing day

So, today was our monthly outing.. (we so need to come up with a creative, unique name for that day each month! - any ideas?)

Today, we decided to explore our "feminine" sides and went for pedicures, massages and finished off with a wonderful meal at Texas Roadhouse. Does life really get any better than this?

Our day started with the three of us sitting in massage pedi chairs and getting the works. We then went for something to drink and discussed a fun adventure that we are planning for October and at noon went to check in for our massages. This place was very good and they have this "membership" that for $59 a month you can get a massage (one hour) and then any more massages during the month are only $49 an hour. They roll over if you are not able to make it during the month and there is no minimum requirement for a contract. HECK YEAH we signed up!  A massage a month for only $59.. we jumped on that!

From there we drove to Tracy to Texas Roadhouse and ended our afternoon with a wonderful meal - great fellowship, fun and laughing.

Next month - somewhere in Santa Cruz or Monterey - - not sure which or where yet.. any ideas?

Totally catch-up

So, it has been a while since I posted  - for that I apologize but I haven't had anyone pounding down my webdoor begging for an update either.... :-)

A lot has happened in the last few weeks - - Stephanie came for the weekend and we had a wedding shower, went to Pacifica for
Kait's first visit to the beach and saw our beloved Buddy leave with them to move to Louisiana. I have been extremely busy with school (work) and organizing the awards night which was on the 19th and went off very well. I also have been very busy with classes in the master's program and finally finished the one I was in on Monday. I am now taking a much needed and deserved break.

We decided that we would go and adopt a new doggie and while we were there, we fell in love with not only one, but another one too..... So, we have adopted a new doggie + one = two new doggies.

Reilly (a standard short haired daschund) and Bella (a doxie/pomeranian/spaniel mix).

They are both settling in very nicely and Reilly has totally become MY dog. I can barely sit down before he is flying across the room into my lap, curling up with me. He knows when I am leaving and attacks me when I return. Bella is totally Cati's dog - but she has discovered her bark - which she likes to do about 2 am. That part isn't too fun, but we are adjusting.

More later... have a great evening.
