So, while everyone was here we, well - really that means Me, as in MOM, decided that we would take family pics at the park. So, here are a few of the pics - .

What a week!

This week started off like any normal week starts... on Sunday - at church. It was great - Shayne was there with us, JulieAnne was there and church was good. Dave left on Monday for Vegas for business and Melodi was flying in on Tuesday with Abygael and Savanna. On Tuesday, I went with Cati to SFO to pick up the crew and home we came. (Unfortunately, Matt, Steph and Kait could not make it this year - sigh). The girls were tired and we set up sleeping arrangements and got everyone into bed. I still had to work on Wednesday and Thursday before having Friday - Tuesday off to enjoy with family. Everything goes along fine - Mom/grandma is here and gets to spend some time with grandkids and great-grandkids while I'm at work. 

Dave is scheduled to fly home on Thursday (Graduation day). He is to arrive in SFO around 1:00 and then take BART home and someone will pick him up at the BART station here in Dublin. The first sign of trouble is when Dave texts me and says that they are delayed an hour and a half due to fog in San Francisco! WHAT? OK - there is still time... he texts me later and they are indeed on the plane and ready to take off.. should arrive in SFO around 2:30 or 3:00. That puts him home to Dublin by 4:00 or 4:30 - okay, still fine as we are not leaving for graduation until 4:30. They land, he gets his luggage, makes it to BART and sits down for the ride..... until they encounter problems on the track and are stopped UNDER THE BAY!!!!!! WHAT? I can't even go pick him up somewhere - Breathe - In, Out, that's the way... 

So, we re-arrange to have Shayne pick Dave up and bring him to graduation and I will go with everyone else and save the seats. Shayne texts me about 5:10 and says that he is on his way to pick up Dave - and they make it to the fairgrounds for graduation by about 5:40... Grad starts at 6:00. It was a little close for my comfort but it worked out and everyone made it. 

But seriously Scott - we are extremely proud of you - who graduated with the California Golden Seal Merit Diploma and is now ready to move on to Las Positas to begin your college career... We love you!
